During my research proposal I experienced times of frustration, but with those times also came really rewarding moments. This was officially my first research paper in college and I will now have this knowledge for classes to come. It was important to note that during the course of my research proposal coming together, attending class and staying up to date with the readings was crucial. This paper took a lot of effort and took me stepping out my comfort zone to ask for for help when I got stuck.
I still feel strongly about my research topic and will continue to look into it and continue molding my study approach to minimize Stimulus seeking violence. My research proposal was only the beginning.
Since my research topic ties into my major, my topic will be commonly explored in the courses to come during my college career. The ability to critically analyze and make observations based off of other researchers work will only prepare me for the classes to come in my Criminal Justice major.
